Double mattress or box spring  53” x 75”
Queen mattress or box spring  60” x 80”
Queen split box spring 30” x 80” (set of 2)
King mattress 76” x 80”
King box spring 38” x 80”(set of 2)

7. Do I need a new box spring?
When buying a mattress, we recommend that you replace the box spring or foundation. Since mattresses and box springs are designed to work together, if one needs to be replaced chances are the other does also. Box springs come in two different heights; the low profile box spring which is 5 ½” high and the regular box spring which is 9” high. When purchasing a mattress with a pillow top a low profile box spring is recommended.

8. What kind of warranty comes with a mattress?
All mattresses are covered by a manufacture warranty but keep in mind that warranties may differ by model or manufacturer. Make sure to read the warranty card that comes with your mattress. Keep in mind that warranties may differ by model or manufacturer.  Most of our quality mattresses come with a minimum 10-year full guarantee, which repairs or replaces your mattress with the same or equivalent model. Be aware that there are standard norms that vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and models, which must be met prior to accepting a warranty claim. In the event that there is a potential defect with your mattress, you can contact your sales associate and they will place a service call with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will have your mattress inspected and give us a detailed report, and your sales associate will contact you with the results of your claim. If your mattress needs to be replaced, your sales associate will place a replacement order

.9. What happens to the warranty once I have my mattress replaced?
If you receive a new mattress under a warranty claim, the warranty does not start over, the length of the warranty is determined by the original purchase date. If you purchased a mattress and a box spring under a warranty claim, the manufacturer will exchange the defective piece. This will not affect the serviceability of the product or future warranty claims.

10. Are there any limitations to the warranty?
Be sure to read your warranty card to understand any warranty limitations. Some warranties become void if the mattress is soiled, certain tags are removed, you no longer have original receipt or if the mattress is on a defective box spring or frame.

11. Is the kind of frame I need important?
A metal frame with a proper center support is needed for double, queen and king mattresses. Linen Chest only sells approved and quality frames. An inadequate frame may provide improper support resulting in premature wear and failure of your mattress and box spring; it may also void your warranty.

12. What if I take a low profile box spring & I still find the bed too high; is there anything I can do?
Yes, you can purchase a low profile bed frame. A low profile bed frame is the same as a regular frame only 3 ½ inches high instead of 7 inches in height.

13. What if I have wood floors; what are my options to prevent rolling?
If you have wooden floors you can replace the rollers by glides. In a frame you will receive some of the rollers with stoppers, that will work well with carpet but we recommend glides for wooden floors. Please advise your sales consultant for best solution.

14. My corner guards came off, is this my mattress defective?
Corner guards are placed on box springs to protect them during delivery; if they come off after your mattress has been delivered its ok they have already done their job.

15. Will my sheets fit the higher and deeper mattresses today?
Today’s sheets and mattress pads are larger or with deep pockets to accommodate these thicker mattresses. In the event you do not own sheets that meet the required pocket depth, we carry clips that may offer a solution to keep them from sliding.

16. What is a Body Impression?
A body impression can look like a shallow indent, but it’s actually an imprint that forms on your mattress when you sleep in the same area and it is adjusting and conforming to your body. It is not a defect, just a normal sign that your mattress is doing its job.

17. How do I take care of my mattress?
Vacuuming is the only recommended way to clean a mattress. If you need to remove a spot you may use a mild soap with cold water and rub lightly but never soak a mattress. A quality washable mattress pad will help keep your mattress clean. Some new mattresses should be rotated to help smooth out contours and normal body impressions. Never put anything between the mattress and box spring to adjust the support.

18. Do I need to flip my mattress?
Today’s mattresses no longer need to be flipped with new technological and medical advances, combined with industry research and development, have not only led to changes in mattress design and construction but also to improvements in the comfort and support available in today’s mattresses, leading to a better night’s sleep. Some new mattresses should be turned or rotated to help smooth out contours and equalize the wear and tear that normally occurs.
